Duchess Meghan marked Valentine’s Day 2026 with a rare and utterly sweet glimpse into the Sussex family life, sharing a never-before-seen photo of her daughter, Princess Lilibet Diana, cuddled up with her father, Prince Harry.
The image, posted on the couple’s official platforms, shows the young princess who turned four in June 2025 clinging to her dad with one arm while clutching a bouquet of shimmering heart-shaped balloons with the other. Dressed in a soft pale-pink dress fit for a budding ballerina, Lilibet’s long red hair stole the show, with fans instantly noting how strikingly she resembles her father at the same age.
“These two + Archie = my forever Valentines,” Meghan captioned the post, adding a simple red heart. The Duchess’s phrasing offered a warm, intimate nod to her family of four, which includes six-year-old big brother Prince Archie.
A Rare Glimpse
Since stepping back from senior royal duties, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have carefully curated the public’s view of their children, releasing photos only on special occasions. This Valentine’s Day surprise joins a cherished collection of glimpses: Lilibet’s honey-harvesting adventures with Harry, her garden explorations, and matching mother-daughter moments with Meghan.
The timing of the post also coincided with a rare joint appearance from across the pond. The Littlest Royal
Born in June 2021 at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, Lilibet (“Lili”) was named after her great-grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II (family nickname: Lilibet), and her late grandmother, Princess Diana. While she holds a place in the British line of succession, her life in Montecito has been decidedly low-key—filled with beach days, playdates, and, apparently, very stylish Valentine’s Day celebrations.
Royal watchers were quick to note the child’s growing resemblance to the Spencer side of the family. “She’s Harry with a bow,” one fan commented, as the image racked up millions of likes within hours.
